7/31/18 The CKPOA Board met to discuss the following issues: updates on fire abatement progress and neighborhood pledge status; gardener work; summer party plans; possible garage sale publicized by CKPOA.
Week of June 26-29 Cypress Fire District staff and Gabilan crews miraculously appeared for 4 consecutive days to begin our fuel abatement project. As directed by Cal Fire experts, we began in the Segunda Canyon. The photo here shows the first day's crews just beginning to head down the canyon. 3/1/18 The CKPOA Board met to discuss the year's goals. Issues included: recent neigbhorhood break-ins and contact with MOCO Sheriff; latest news about our Cypress Matching Fuel Reduction Grant; coordination with Rancho Rio Vista and greater Carmel Valley in safety issues.
12/9/17 Our December Holiday Party at Rich Brimer's Barnyard art studio drew about 20 residents who caught up with old friends and met new neighbors while sharing fine wine and lovely dishes. If you have any photos from the evening, please forward them to us!
At that meeting, the 2018 board was unanimously elected by “popular vote.”
